Managing implementation of Vietnam National Brand Program
The Ministry of Industry and Trade is drafting the Prime Minister's Decision promulgating the "Regulation on management and implementation of Vietnam National Brand Program."


According to the draft, the goal of the Vietnam National Brand Program is to build a picture of Vietnam as a reputable country with diversified and rich goods and services with high quality, thereby increasing prestige, pride and attraction for the country and people of Vietnam, contributing to improving the national competitiveness.

At the same time, encourage the restructuring of economic and export sectors towards focusing on high value-added industries, contributing to improving the competitiveness of Vietnamese brands in the integration process.

At the same time, strengthening the linkage and coordination of activities of relevant agencies and organizations in a synchronous system to increase efficiency in supporting enterprises to build competitiveness from brand development process.

The draft also highlighted the prohibited behaviors in the management and implementation of the Program, such as affecting prestige, creating negative associations to national images and brands; committing frauds and deception when participating in the Program, taking advantage of national image and brand to serve bad purposes and violate the law.
