More than 200 policy actions cope with climate change
219 policy actions have been supported by ministries and branches to respond to climate change with funding $ 1 billion from 6 sponsors.

On April 16, Department of Natural Resources and Environment shared research results on building policy actions under Support Program of response to climate change (SP-RCC).

SP-RCC program supported ministries in the construction activities, the revised legal documents oriented elements of integrated response to climate change attracted nearly $ 1 billion from 6 sponsors.

Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Tran Hong Ha said, SP-RCC program established in 2009 to support the implementation of the National target program to respond to climate change in Vietnam Nam.

According to JICA Chief Representative in Vietnam Mutsurya Mori, SP-RCC program has contributed to the development of important policies, notably as the National Strategy on Climate Change 2011; establishment of National Forum on Disaster Risk Reduction and climate change adaptation in 2012 and etc.
