Hau Giang: Implemented the Paris Climate Change Agreement
On April 2, 2018, People's Committee of Hau Giang Province promulgated the Plan for implementation of the Paris Climate Change Agreement in Hau Giang Province in 2018.


Accordingly, the People's Committee of Hau Giang province requests the departments, unions, people's committees of districts, towns and cities to organize propaganda and dissemination in the whole cadres, workers and people on the implementation of the Paris Agreement in Vietnam and the implementation plan of Hau Giang Province in order to raise awareness of environmentally friendly lifestyle, economical and efficient use of natural resources; encourage the use of renewable resources, reduce the intensity of greenhouse gas emissions, contribute to responding to climate change and protect the environment.

Besides, to take the initiative in raising awareness, implementing the plan in association with responsibilities and tasks assigned in the year; to attach importance to the integration of climate change response and green growth into sectoral development plans, contributing to the building and development of Hau Giang province into a green, clean and beautiful, civilized, modern and environmentally friendly province. Raise the awareness and capacity of professional staffs, leaders and community on climate change, green growth, sea level rise, impacts on living environment. Organize training courses on the content of natural disaster prevention and control, environmental protection and response to climate change, helping officers at all levels, branches and localities make reasonably economic social policies and planning.
