"Panasonic for a green Vietnam" went to Hoa Binh, Quang Nam and Quang Ngai province
On September 23, 2017, Panasonic Vietnam Company collaborated with the General Department of Environment and Hoa Binh People's Committee to hold a tree planting ceremony and donate more than 3,000 orange trees for resettlement residents of the Da River hydropower. After that, enterprises will continue to hand over 1,200 solar lights to Quang Nam and Quang Ngai provinces.

Mr. Yamamoto Masahiro, Business Planning director, Panasonic Vietnam, said, “Green planting Program” “Panasonic  for a Green Vietnam "is an annual corporate social responsibility activity that Panasonic has implemented for many years. Employees of Panasonic and local people in Ba Vi, Thai Binh, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa planted nearly 90,000 green trees to improve the environment and the quality of life for people. It not only does it directly benefit the local community, but also contributes to the preservation of World Heritages recognized by UNESCO in Vietnam, Panasonic wished to spread the message of environmental protection from every employee of the company to the whole society."

After the tree planting ceremony, on October 13, 2017, Panasonic will donate 1,200 solar lights to Minh Long, Tra Bong, Son Tay and Bac Tra My districts, carry light from green energy sources to two provinces of Quang Nam and Quang Ngai, continue the Vietnam lighting journey to dispel darkness of   Panasonic.

This is a practical activity contributing to overcome the severe consequences of the typhoon No. 10 just landed in the Central, causing damage to people, especially those located in the area without electricity.  This activity is part of the project "100,000 solar lights" launched by Panasonic Corporation, towards the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Group in 2018.
