Vietnam's Covid-19 test set is recognized to meet European standards
The Covid-19 test kit produced by Vietnam has just been licensed by the British Ministry of Health to meet European standards.

Mr. Phan Quoc Viet, General Director of Viet A Technology Joint Stock Company.

On April 21, Mr. Phan Quoc Viet, General Director of Viet A Technology Joint Stock Company, said that the UK Ministry of Health and Social Care has issued a certificate of European standard (CE) and granted a certificate of free sale (CFS) for a set of test products handed over by the Ministry of Science and Technology to the Military Medical Academy and Viet A Company for research and production.

The UK officially left the EU on January 31, 2020, but the EU Pharmaceutical Law will still apply to the UK until December 31, 2020. Under EU regulations, any member of this union that grants a CE is allowed to circulate throughout Europe. As a result, this kit can be sold freely in all member states of the European Economic Area including the United Kingdom.

After licensed by the UK Ministry of Health and Social Care, the Viet A Covid-19 test kit was exclusively ordered by a partner to distribute in the UK, India, Mexico, USA and some countries in Europe.

Earlier, in March 2020, Viet A said that 20 countries were negotiating to buy biological kits. In the immediate future, the company will export to Iran, Finland, Malaysia and Ukraine. Of these, Iran ordered 200,000 tests (4,000 sets), Ukraine ordered 15,000 tests (300 sets).

In Vietnam, Hanoi City People's Committee also ordered 200,000 tests to use for Hanoi's needs and exported to Italy.
