Smuggling thousands of pairs of men's sports shoes with signs of counterfeiting
The Market Management Department of Lang Son province said that in the prevention of smuggling in the area, the Market Management Team No. 8, in collaboration with the Binh Gia District Police, conducted a inspection of car 29B - 152.99, controled by Mr. Tran Nam Dung, resides in Lang Son City, Lang Son Province, ran on Highway 1B in the direction of Lang Son to Thai Nguyen.

At the time of inspection, the car was transporting more than 1,480 pairs of Nike, Adidas, Chinese-made men's shoes with signs of protected counterfeit goods in Vietnam.

Working directly with the authorities, driver can not present invoices and documents proving the lawful import origin of the consignment.

Mr. Tran Nam Dung claimed that he transported the above goods to some people from Dong Dang town, Cao Loc district, Lang Son province to Thai Nguyen city for some people according to the phone number on the goods package.

Due to signs of infringement, the competent authorities have seized all of the above goods to verify the origin and owner, and at the same time coordinate with Nike, Adidas trademark owner representatives in Vietnam to identify and conclude goods with counterfeit trademarks serving as a basis for handling cases according to the provisions of law.
