Building an innovation center to incubate businesses
The Hoa Lac High-Tech Innovation Center will be officially operated in mid-April to incubate start-up businesses.

In the afternoon of April 9, the Ministry of Science and Technology held the first quarterly press conference. At the press conference, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Bui The Duy said that the innovation has never been much interested by the ministries, branches, localities and enterprises as today.

Accordingly, the Ministry of Planning and Investment has cooperated with the Ministry of Science and Technology to build an Innovation Center in Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park (Thach That District, Hanoi) to promote the cultivation of start-up businesses.

The purpose of the center is to improve the technological capacity and innovation of businesses to improve labor productivity and competitiveness of the economy, making Vietnam an upper middle-income country.

The Center will mobilize and attract leading technology companies in priority areas to conduct research and development at the Center by providing them with the most complete and convenient working space possible with services including logistics, labor, legal, infrastructure ... at low cost; connecting and attracting domestic and foreign talents; support entrepreneurs and innovation startup businesses to connect with investment funds, large domestic and foreign enterprises to access the market.
