Vietnam announced 3 AI research works at an international conference
VinAI Research has 3 research projects on artificial intelligence published at the International Conference on Machine Learning 2020. This is also the first time a unit from Vietnam to the top 30 enterprises with many projects has been announced at this conference.

The International Conference on Machine Learning (ICML) 2020 is taking place, bringing together the world's leading experts in AI and machine learning. Technology giants like Google, Facebook participated and introduced many important research. VinAI of Vingroup, representing Vietnam, has three published research works, equivalent to major research centers of Apple, NTT, NEC.

At ICML 2020, VinAI introduces: The optimal calculation method to compare distributions from big data; Deeply learn important representations from image data, video for optimal control problems and Propose an effective deduction method for complex non-linear noron dynamic systems.

This is also the first time a unit from Vietnam to the top 30 enterprises with the most published works at ICML. Three published works of VinAI Research focus on important issues in AI research at the present time.

The study of comparisons between distributions from big data is the basis for many machine learning algorithms, contributing to the promotion of unattended machine learning algorithms - one of the most interesting issues in AI, computer vision, processing and understanding of natural language. Meanwhile, studies of data representation and nonlinear dynamic systems are the basis for a breakthrough in the development of automation robots or self-driving cars.

Earlier in December 2019, VinAI had two research papers published at the annual International Conference on NeurIPS artificial intelligence network information processing system - the leading conference on AI in Canada. In addition to intensive research, the engineering team at VinAI Research is striving to develop high-quality AI core applications and technologies. In May 2020, VinAI continued to become one of the first units in the world to announce the successful research of facial using mask of recognition technology.
