Dr. Tran Dinh Thien: In addition to supporting businesses, need to promote innovation startup
The Government, the State must be the "biggest buyer" for "made in Vietnam" products. At the meeting of the National Financial, Monetary Policy Advisory Council, experts said that corporate relief is necessary; At the same time, promote increased vitality for businesses. In addition to the support mechanism to overcome the influence of Covid-19, special supporting policies are needed for stronger corporate restructuring, not only restructuring the input and investment markets but also labor, Increase the resilience of the economy.

Commenting on this issue, according to Dr. Tran Dinh Thien, the capacity of Vietnamese enterprises is weak, especially small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Therefore, "not only to save the old but also to create new ones", that is, besides supporting businesses, promoting innovation startup. In this difficult situation, measures to handle bad debts should be taken into account. According to the expert, the Government and the State must be the "biggest buyers" for "made in Vietnam" products.

And Dr. Vo Tri Thanh said that it is necessary to quickly implement the issued support packages, including the 62,000 billionVND of security support package, the 180,000 billion VND of financial support package, etc.

Same views, Dr. Tran Du Lich acknowledged that the implementation of support packages was still slow and needed to be stepped up. Policy packages must be long-term because it is forecasted that some industries and sectors, especially the labor-intensive industry, will have to "blow" the third quarter of 2020 due to the fault of contracts.
