Inauguration Ceremony of Vietnamese - Korean Agricultural Equipment Center
In the morning of August 22, 2019, at the Vietnam-Korea Industrial Technology Incubator, the inauguration ceremony of "Vietnam - Korea Agricultural Equipment Center" was held by Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technology Incubator - Can Tho City Department of Industry and Trade in collaboration with the Can Tho Management Board of construction investment projects uses the official development assistance fund (ODA Management Board), the Korea Agricultural Machinery Association (KAMICO).


Attending the inauguration ceremony, on the Korean side, there were KAMICO Executive Director, Director of KIAT, Korean Embassy in Vietnam.On Vietnam side, there were VIP Can Tho, MOIT, People's Committee of Can Tho City, relevant agencies and local people.

The Vietnam-Korea Agricultural Machine Center is one of the items of the project "Supporting Vietnam's Agricultural Mechanization in Can Tho City" funded by the Korean Government for Can Tho City. The center is built at the Vietnam-Korea Industrial Technology Incubator with the main task of training, repairing and operating agricultural machines funded by the Korean side, contributing to improving the agricultural mechanization rate in Can Tho in particular and the Mekong Delta in general.

The Agricultural Equipment Center is supported in construction to mechanize Vietnamese agriculture, help to save the labor of local farmers and improve the income of the agricultural sector through the provision of agricultural equipment. This will also be a driving force for Vietnam's mechanization and modernization, which Vietnam intends to achieve by 2030.
