Production of construction materials from thermal ash
This is the method that is being considered because it has solved environmental problems while taking advantage of ash resources, reducing treatment costs.

The amount of ash discharged by thermal power plants each year is very large and is an environmental threat if it is not properly treated. In the current treatment measures, using thermal ash as an additive in construction material production is a method of concern because it has solved environmental problems and made use of the ash source reduce treatment costs.

This is also the content presented in the Program of Workshop on analyzing technology trends organized by Ho Chi Minh City Science and Technology Information and Statistics Center on March 22.

At the workshop, attendees will learn about the overview of research and application of thermal ash in the world and in Vietnam, such as the situation of ash emissions of coal-fired thermal power plants, nature substances of ash and thermal power plants in Vietnam, research and application of thermal ash in the world and in Vietnam and etc.

Along with that, experts at the Institute of Building Materials - Ministry of Construction will introduce research and application of thermal ash to manufacture coating materials for industrial solid waste landfills at the Institute of Building Materials. Unbaked brick products use thermal ash will be displayed at the workshop for participants to learn directly.

The workshop will be held from 8:30 am on March 22 at the Science and Technology Information and Statistics Center, No.79 Truong Dinh, Ben Thanh Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
