Israel wants to bring wastewater treatment technology to Vietnam
The technology can be connected directly to the marine water treatment system to convert it into household water.

In the morning of July 9, the Israeli Water Policy and Management workshop was organized by the Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality, specialists from the Israeli Ministry of Economy and Industry introduced many water treatment technologies can be applied in Vietnam, including the technology is the same kidney blood dialysis model.

According to Mrs. Liza Holodovsky, head of Water Committee, the National Water and Energy Program - NewTech Irsael, water dialysis equipment based on dialysis technology has been successfully researched and used by the Israeli unit and average and small capacity establishments.

With this technology, the input water is analyzed and then runs through the clean water separation system. Waste water can continue to come back for treatment. The technology has been licensed and ready to be transferred.

Israel is a water shortage country of more than 45% annually, so water treatment and reuse technologies are prior. 80% of used water in agriculture is treated.

Wastewater in Israel is also treated into household water. The largest facility for wastewater treatment currently has a capacity of 130 million cubic meters per year, serving to the needs of two million people; Small scale works is about 30 m3 for 500 people.

High appreciation of Israel's water treatment technology, Prof. Tran Hieu Nhue, Vietnam Association for Nature and Environment Protection, said that it would be difficult to apply because Vietnam's water tariff is considered the cheapest in the world. If applying modern treatment technologies, it is necessary to calculate the expenses and policies of the state for investment units.
