Through the study, test specimens from My Son temple tower, Russian scientists had important conclusions as temple construction materials can be different from the origin and characteristics of the calcined material; uneven bricks; in the production of bricks, it was mixed sand with plant samples; clay used as original materials for production of bricks, but it was not used for  production of building elements in the study; it needs to protect the surface of the bricks from  invading of organisms living inside and destructing outside.

Professor, Dr. Sergey Nefedkin said My Son is not only Vietnam heritage, but also it is heritage of all humanity, so research for the conservation, restoration of this population is very important.

The main objective of the team is to prevent the destruction of external forces on populations; research and propose materials to restore the original status; protect relics from destruction.

Currently, Quang Nam province has many relics,  national and international relics. In particular, Cham architecture with unique temple towers are over thousands of years old, integrating the wisdom and extraordinary creativity of Cham culture.

These temple towers, tower groups such as Chien Dan, Khuong My, Bang An, Dong Duong Buddhist Institute, My Son and etc attract domestic and foreign researchers discover secrets of the ancients.
