Studying solutions to promote technology transfer, application and innovation in Can Tho City
On March 6, 2019, Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology established science and technology Council to assign implementation of project for "Studying solutions to promote transfer activities and application of technology innovation in Can city. The study is implemented by Associate Proffesor, Dr. Nguyen Chi Ngon, Can Tho Union of Science and Technology Associations is a presiding agency.


The objective of the project is to research and evaluate the situation, propose specific solutions to promote technology transfer, application and innovation to effectively implement the Law on Technology Transfer 2017 in the locality.

Specifically, the first topic will evaluate the status of technology transfer, application and innovation taking place in a number of fields, such as industry, handicraft, agriculture, rural areas, trade and services, etc. Thus, propose solutions to promote innovation and technology transfer.

It is expected that the project will be implemented in 14 months, including specific contents, such as collecting information, synthesizing and evaluating research activities in the field of socio-economic, technology application, new and technology transfer; carry out the estimated surveys of about 200 enterprises, 70 units and organizations with science and technology activities in the city; build topics on analyzing and assessing the status of technology transfer and innovation, application in Can Tho city; organize scientific conferences to gain feedback from the community and experts and etc.
